    Jan 2022 – Present
    Senior Project Manager

    For a leading global FMCG in infant nutrition, delivered a R400M 'Bag in Box' infant-formula packaging line at Harrismith — six months ahead of schedule through innovative front-end planning, modular execution and strict stage-gate discipline. OTIF against every strategic success criterion.

    • Leads the end-to-end technical side of capital investment projects across the ESAR region — fixed-asset investment and full project lifecycle.
    • Primary liaison between project stakeholders and the Management Committee, with monthly strategic progress and financial performance reporting.
    • Runs capacity-utilisation modelling so new capital is sized against future volume growth and business strategy.
    • Integrates, coaches and develops process, packaging, safety and operations leads into a single high-performance delivery team.
  2. AB-InBev (SAB)
    Jul 2017 – Dec 2021
    Project Implementation Leader · Zone Capex Leader

    Led 8.7 MW solar rollout across 7 South African breweries; owned BU South CAPEX portfolio governance and 1YP / 3YP planning for Africa Zone ManCom.

    • Developed high-level scopes, schedules and budgets that fed the 1-Year and 3-Year capital plans.
    • Accountable for executing the approved 1YP across regional sites — initiation through closure and handover.
    • Implemented the AB-InBev Capital Projects Governance Model across the Africa Zone, enforcing global policy compliance.
    • Managed the regional CAPEX portfolio: budgeting, forecasting and trade-off calls to fund unplanned high-priority work.
  3. Tiger Brands
    Feb 2016 – Jun 2017
    Capital Projects Lead (RSA) · Project Engineering Manager (Ethiopia)

    End-to-end installation & commissioning of dry detergent, soap and seasoning packing lines at the East African Tiger Brands site.

    • Set the long-term capital investment roadmap — asset replacement, new production lines and factory development projects.
    • Prepared detailed capital budget forecasts aligned to broader Tiger Brands group objectives.
    • In Ethiopia, led installation and commissioning of multiple dry detergent powder packing lines and a dedicated soap packing facility.
  4. Unilever SA — Project Waterfall
    Sep 2013 – Feb 2016
    Project Delivery Engineer

    For a leading global FMCG in homecare and personal care, delivered the full R400M industrial services scope on the Khanyisa greenfield Home Care Liquids factory (Boksburg) — six weeks ahead of schedule, enabling an earlier greenfield start-up and first production.

    • Managed the R400M utilities and industrial services scope for the greenfield Khanyisa factory in Boksburg.
    • Owned the full lifecycle: design reviews, procurement, technical bid analysis and site construction management of utilities and the tank farm.
  5. RCL Foods (Rainbow Chickens)
    Jun 2010 – Aug 2013
    Project Engineer

    Led the R100M 'Space for Growth' programme at Rustenburg — spiral freezers, refrigeration plant rooms and VSD oil-free compressor upgrades.

    • Managed the Rustenburg site annual CAPEX portfolio — execution, budget allocation and cash-flow projections aligned to plant requirements.
